Rosendal Badstove

Malmangervikjo in Rosendal is a state-secured outdoor recreation area, and where the sauna will stand there is a lay-by, parking and motorhome camping today. Rosendal Turnlag and Rosendal Bygdelag want a sauna there, and what makes it possible is the changing room: it will stay unlocked, so everyone who swims in the bay can change there, even though the sauna room is booked. In May 2026 the county council gave permission to use the area for a sauna for up to ten years, and named the changing room as one of the reasons. Sparebanken Norge has granted 170 000 kroner to the pre-project, and we have designed the sauna. The case is now waiting on the municipality.
