Øyane Sauna

Øyane Sauna will sit on its own floating dock by the pier on Bruarøy, and opens in November. IL Øyglimt wanted it to belong with the old shop building the club is restoring with volunteer labour, with a touch of boathouse feel, and the roof is laid the way the club lays it on the shop. Power on the island was a matter of its own: the club secured enough capacity with BKK, and the electric stove heats up by itself before every booking. The sauna was designed by us and built by Teige Nes Bygg.
