Os Sauna

Back in 2019 the local paper wrote that Steinneset could get a floating sauna, and in the summer of 2023 the municipality held a competition for exactly that. Os Turnforening won, and the club owns and runs the sauna today. It opened on 23 December 2023, with a gift from Sparebanken Vest. We designed it, wrote the applications and set up the booking and lock, and Teige Nes Bygg built it. Running it rests on volunteers: the pensioners' group cleans it, and the volunteer group has the sauna to themselves three mornings a week.
