Langevåg Sauna

Bømlo IL calls Langevåg Sauna "a new gathering place for body and soul". It floats at the pier of Bømlo Båtlag in Langevåg on Bømlo, and Bømlo Idrettslag owns it and runs it together with the boat club. Getting it there took a while. Teige Nes Bygg built the sauna in Holmefjord, and for several months it lay on a concrete floating dock at Onarheim waiting to be towed. The tow was 25 tonnes and went at two knots, and on 9 December 2025 it arrived. We designed it and made the website, booking and lock.
