Grindvoll Badstove is a floating sauna on Vassjøtjern in Lunner, with Grindvoll Vel as the client. We are the responsible applicant and carry the case through planning. The project sits in an area where land use is contested, and the application has been through public consultation with objections from several quarters. It is the kind of case we know best: a small, reversible intervention that has to answer large questions about nature and land use. So we work carefully on the argument that a floating sauna strengthens recreational use of the tarn rather than competing with it.
